Dr. Jean,

I just wanted to take some time out to let you know my experiences and thoughts on your Boys2Men program. This program helped me in so many ways, and I am forever grateful! The program taught me leadership skills, which is a skill good leaders like myself do have. When you think about leadership you’re thinking about a vision of where you want to be and work, therefore, you work to achieve that vision. From that, I learned to change the crowd I surrounded myself with on a daily basis. I am very thoughtful of the many field trips we took to various places, and because of those experiences I was able to go and try new things. These experiences have taken me a long way, especially since I was going through a tough time transitioning to an adolescent. I appreciate you Dr. Jean for attending my court dates, while supporting my family. I can really say you are a very loving, caring, and helpful person. I know I can call you for assistance for anything, and you are willingly available to give me some type of guidance or just a listening ear. I just want to thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication. This transition felt amazingly earnest as I transform to adulthood. Again, thank you for being an advocate for the youth. You care about all the kids, and you try to help them to be and do better in life through your program…. it shows shamelessly. So, I am here to say Boys2Men was a great experience.
Candidly,
Jaylon Scandrick
