THE MISSION

Our mission is to empower vulnerable youth to become the best and fullest expression of themselves through tailored youth development programs and nurturing partnerships.

  • 95% of B2M participants graduate from High School

  • 80% of those graduates go on to college, technical schools, the US Military, start their own businesses or secure managerial employment positions

VALUE STATEMENT
Boys2Men&Girls2Win believe that with the proper supportive relationships, the incorporation of evidence-based programming, and access to activities that expose them to new experiences expanding their possibilities, young black youth will thrive.

WHAT WE DO

While providing a safe-haven and programs designed to teach life skills is the objective, youth will be mentored and loved where they are. Activities fundamental to life and daily living skills will be a mainstay while encouraging parents and caregivers to participate. There will be educational programs, including GED preparation, cultural and diversity awareness, health education, faith-based studies, mentoring, internship programs, drug treatment prevention, family counseling, and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, a model shown to be a powerful resource in teaching relationship building and problem-solving.

HOW WE DO IT

The home of B2M & G2W is designed to be a safe haven for youth who need a listening ear, and constructive feedback in the midst of crisis or developmental challenges. This approach has led to successful outcomes in our targeted population, youth 13-26. Offsite retreats are a key component of the services we provide. Our youth learn essential life skills, while having fun.
